नक्ष॒द्धोता॒ परि॒ सद्म॑ मि॒ता यन्भर॒द्गर्भ॒मा श॒रदः॑ पृथि॒व्याः । क्रन्द॒दश्वो॒ नय॑मानो रु॒वद्गौर॒न्तर्दू॒तो न रोद॑सी चर॒द्वाक्
nakṣaddhotā pari sadma mitā yanbharadgarbhamā śaradaḥ pṛthivyāḥ krandadaśvo nayamāno ruvadgaurantardūto na rodasī caradvāk
The star-god encircles the measured seat; the autumnal natures are the earth's womb. The neighing steed led along laments; the tawny courser, messenger within, utters cries and speaks with voice.
The invoker (of the gods, Agni), pervades the measured stations (of the altars), and accepts that (oblation), which is the germ of the year of the earth; as a horse neighs when bringing (the offering to Indra), as a bull bellows like a messenger proclaiming (his message) between heaven and earth.
May the Priest come circling the measured stations, and with him bring the earth's autumnal fruitage. Let the Horse neigh led near, let the Steer bellow: let the Voice go between both worlds as herald,
