arcadvṛṣā vṛṣabhiḥ sveduhavyairmṛgo nāśno ati yajjuguryāt pra mandayurmanāṃ gūrta hotā bharate maryo mithunā yajatraḥ
Cattle like bulls and oxen, bearing sweat for the sacred offering, the steed devours what the yoked ones bring. The sacrificer, filling the ritual ladle with mind, the worshipper who pairs in praise carries it.
The showerer (of the oblation, the offerer of the sacrifice, assisted) by (the priests), presenting the oblations which have been provided by himself, adores (Indra), in order that he may hasten (to the rite), as a (thirsty) deer to the water. The mortal invoker (of the gods), O mighty Indra, whilst glorifying them who are desirous of praise, presents a twofold offering (to you).
Let the Bull sing with Bulls whose toil is worship, with a loud roar like some wild beast that hungers. Praised God! the glad priest brings his heart's devotion; the holy youth presents twofold oblation.
