मो षू ण॑ इ॒न्द्रात्र॑ पृ॒त्सु दे॒वैरस्ति॒ हि ष्मा॑ ते शुष्मिन्नव॒याः । म॒हश्चि॒द्यस्य॑ मी॒ळ्हुषो॑ य॒व्या ह॒विष्म॑तो म॒रुतो॒ वन्द॑ते॒ गीः
mo ṣū ṇa indrātra pṛtsu devairasti hi ṣmā te śuṣminnavayāḥ mahaścidyasya mīḷhuṣo yavyā haviṣmato maruto vandate gīḥ
O Indra, your weapons are eager among the gods; these very nimble youthful ones are yours. The Marut praises the hymn-maker who brings plentiful oblation and strength.
Indra, associated with the Maruts in battles (with the clouds), abandon us not; for a share of the offering is set apart, mighty one, for you, for whom, the shedder of rain and accepter of oblations, the worship is offered with oblations, whilst the hymn glorifies the Marutṣ
Let us not here contend with Gods, O Indra, for here, O Mighty One, is thine own portion, The Great, whose Friends the bounteous Maruts honour, as with a stream, his song who pours oblations.
