Invoke repeatedly, O Indra, the gentle ones, great among men in the earthly hall; attend so that these may bind the broad offerings—women stood at the sacred ford with libations.
Go, Indra, to the mighty rain-shedding leaders (of the clouds), and exert yourself in (thine) aerial dwelling; for their broad-footed steeds stand (firm), like the manly energies of an enemy in the field of battle.
Bring forth the Men who rain down boons, O Indra: exert thee in the great terrestrial region; For their broad-chested speckled deer are standing like a King's armies on the field of battle.
