ayujranta indra viśvakṛṣṭīrvidānāso niṣṣidho martyatrā marutāṃ pṛtsutirhāsamānā svarmīḷhasya pradhanasya sātau
Indra, ceasing from his wide ploughing, stood apart from the ordinances; in the mortal realms he, joyous, caused laughter among the Maruts and rejoiced in the might of the foremost one.
Rulers over all men, and impelling towards man the water-shedding clouds, they are united, Indra, (with you); the host of Maruts is delighted by (your) acquisition of heaven-bestowing wealth.
The various doings of all mortal people by thee are ordered, in thy wisdom, Indra. The host of Marutg goeth forth exulting to win the light-bestowing spoil of battle.
