The renowned Prishni-born, of mighty might, for the fray you assumed the form of the Maruts' one assembly; they, like swift‑moving birds, produced you, having perceived your own Svadhā and stirring up the spell.
Pṛśni bore the brilliant troop of the quick-moving Maruts for the great combat (with the clouds), whereupon (mankind) immediately beheld the desiderated food.
Prani brought forth, to fight the mighty battle, the glittering army of the restless Maruts. Nurtured together they begat the monster, and then looked round them for the food that strengthens.
