आ नोऽवो॑भिर्म॒रुतो॑ या॒न्त्वच्छा॒ ज्येष्ठे॑भिर्वा बृ॒हद्दि॑वैः सुमा॒याः । अध॒ यदे॑षां नि॒युतः॑ पर॒माः स॑मु॒द्रस्य॑ चिद्ध॒नय॑न्त पा॒रे
ā no'vobhirmaruto yāntvacchā jyeṣṭhebhirvā bṛhaddivaiḥ sumāyāḥ adha yadeṣāṃ niyutaḥ paramāḥ samudrasya ciddhanayanta pāre
May the Maruts bring waters to us, those from the elders or from the great heavens, with abundant might; may they, controlling the supreme, divide the sea’s wealth to the shores.
May the Maruts come to our presence with benefaction; may they who are possessed of knowledge (come) with most excellent and brilliant (treasures), since their glorious horses, the Niyutas, gather wealth even on the farther shore of the sea.
May the most sapient Maruts, with protection, with best boons brought from lofty heaven, approach us, Now when their team of the most noble horses speeds even on the sea's extremest limit.
