All auspicious Maruts in chariots, in your loving lustre, may you be called forth; in the assemblies your limbs have yoked the wheels—by season you were unveiled.
Maruts, all good things are in your cars; on your shoulders abides emulous strength; at your resting-plural ces on the road refreshments (are ready); the axle of your (chariot) wheels holds them firmly together.
O Maruts, in your cars are all things that are good: great powers are set as 'twere in rivalry therein. Rings are upon your shoulders when ye journey forth: your axle turns together both the chariot wheels.
