तद्वो॑ जामि॒त्वं म॑रुतः॒ परे॑ यु॒गे पु॒रू यच्छंस॑ममृतास॒ आव॑त । अ॒या धि॒या मन॑वे श्रु॒ष्टिमाव्या॑ सा॒कं नरो॑ दं॒सनै॒रा चि॑कित्रिरे
tadvo jāmitvaṃ marutaḥ pare yuge purū yacchaṃsamamṛtāsa āvata ayā dhiyā manave śruṣṭimāvyā sākaṃ naro daṃsanairā cikitrire
May that Marut’s portion come to you in another age, when the mortals and the immortals together brought forth the milk of ambrosia; with that intelligence the mind of man was fashioned, and men, adorned, moved with varied wonders.
Your alliance with us, Maruts, is of a long duration on which account, immortals, accept our ample praise and, having accepted ourlaudation, be gratified, leaders (of sacrifice), by our holy acts, through this (your) favourable disposition towards mankind.
This is your kinship, Maruts, that, Immortals, ye were oft in olden time regardful of our call, Having vouchsafed to man a hearing through this prayer, by wondrous deeds the Heroes have displayed their might.
