तद्वः॑ सुजाता मरुतो महित्व॒नं दी॒र्घं वो॑ दा॒त्रमदि॑तेरिव व्र॒तम् । इन्द्र॑श्च॒न त्यज॑सा॒ वि ह्रु॑णाति॒ तज्जना॑य॒ यस्मै॑ सु॒कृते॒ अरा॑ध्वम्
tadvaḥ sujātā maruto mahitvanaṃ dīrghaṃ vo dātramaditeriva vratam indraścana tyajasā vi hruṇāti tajjanāya yasmai sukṛte arādhvam
You, well-born Maruts, gave greatness long as a fixed vow, like the gift of the sun’s giver. Indra grants by heroic effort; honor him who has done good and worshipped rightly.
Such, well-born Maruts, is your greatness, that your munificence is as long (continued) as the function of Aditi; and Indra does not exceed, by his own liberality, (the value of) that which you have bestowed upon the devout man (who worships you).
This is your majesty, ye Maruts nobly born, far as the sway of Adid your bounty spreads. Even Indra by desertion never disannuls the boon bestowed by you upon the pious man.
