amandanmā marutaḥ stomo atra yanme naraḥ śrutyaṃ brahma cakra indrāya vṛṣṇe sumakhāya mahyaṃ sakhye sakhāyastanve tanūbhiḥ
Do not be slow, Marut; your praise here, O man, the heard prayer and the rite. To Indra, the bull, the kindly-faced, make friendship—O friends, with bodily powers bind him to you.
Maruts, on this occasion praise delights me; that prise which is to be heard (by all), which men have offered me. To Indra, the showerer (of benefits), the object of pious sacrifice; to me, (endowed) with many forms (do you) my friends (offer sacrifices) for (the nourishment of my) person n.
Now, O ye Maruts, hath your praise rejoiced me, the glorious hymn which ye have made me, Heroes! For me, for Indra, champion strong in battle, for me, yourselves, as lovers for a lover.
