iha bravītu ya īmaṅga vedāsya vāmasya nihitaṃ padaṃ veḥ śīrṣṇaḥ kṣīraṃ duhrate gāvo asya vavriṃ vasānā udakaṃ padāpuḥ
Let him speak here who placed this foot of the hymn (veda) — of the left side —. The cows milked the head (primordial) like milk; they offered this watery foot with abundant vital breath.
Let him who knows this (truth) quickly declare it; the mysterious condition of the beautiful ever-moving (sun); the rays shed (their) milk from his (exalted) head investing his form with radiance; they have drunk up the water by the paths (by which they were poured forth).
Let him who knoweth presently declare it , this lovely Bird's securely founded station. Forth from his head the Cows draw milk, and, wearing his vesture, with their foot have drunk the water.
