This is the altar, the inner of the earth; this is the sacrifice, the world's navel. This Soma is the steed's seed, this speech the supreme sky of Brahman.
This altar is the uttermost end of the earth; this sacrifice is the navel of the world; this Soma is the fecundating power of the rain-shedding steed; this Brahmā is the supreme heavn of (holy) speech.
This altar is the earth's extremest limit; this sacrifice of ours is the world's centre. The Stallion's seed prolific is the Soma; this Brahman highest heaven where Speech abideth.
