atrā te rūpamuttamamapaśyaṃ jigīṣamāṇamiṣa ā pade goḥ yadā te marto anu bhogamānaḷādidgrasiṣṭha oṣadhīrajīgaḥ
There you beheld the highest form of cows eager for struggle at the feet of the earth. When you, mortal, were enjoying, herbs and the oldest grass devoured you.
I behold your most excellent form coming eagerly to (receive) your food in your (holy) plural ce of earth; when your attendant brings you nigh to the enjoyment (of the provender), therefore gredy, you devour the fodder.
Here I beheld thy form, matchless in glory, eager to win thee food at the Cow's station. Whene'er a man brings thee to thine enjoyment, thou swallowest the plants most greedy eater.
