ये वा॒जिनं॑ परि॒पश्य॑न्ति प॒क्वं य ई॑मा॒हुः सु॑र॒भिर्निर्ह॒रेति॑ । ये चार्व॑तो मांसभि॒क्षामु॒पास॑त उ॒तो तेषा॑म॒भिगू॑र्तिर्न इन्वतु
ye vājinaṃ paripaśyanti pakvaṃ ya īmāhuḥ surabhirnirhareti ye cārvato māṃsabhikṣāmupāsata uto teṣāmabhigūrtirna invatu
Those who regard the wealthy as ripe say: ‘Fragrance disappears.’ Those who, by the eating of flesh, aim at sacrificial food — may their approaches not find fault with these (offerings).
Let their exertions be for our good who watch the cooking of the horse; who say, it is fragrant; therefore give us some; who solicit the flesh of the horse as alms.
They who observing that the Horse is ready call out and say, the smell is good; remove it; And, craving meat, await the distribution, -may their approving help promote labour.
