'Hnoma-meina' thus Tvastar spoke of the knife, those who criticized the gods' drink. They give other names; the sons craft names, touching others with many names.
When Tvaṣṭā said: let us slay those who have profaned the ladle, (designed) for the drinking of the gods; then they made use of other names for one another as the libation was poured out; and the maiden (mother) propitiated them by different appellations.
As Tvastar thus had spoken, Let us slay these men who have reviled the chalice, drinking-cup of Gods, They gave themselves new names when Soma juice was shed, and under these new names the Maiden welcomed them.
