He who first pierced the ancient, who renewed and generated the noble, gave gifts to Vishnu; when born from great earth he spoke mightily, and his fame spread among ears, increasing by vigorous practice.
He who presents (offerings) to Viṣṇu, the ancient, the creator, the recent, the self-born; he who celebrates the great birth of that mighty one; he verily possessed of abundance, attains (the station) that is to be sought (by all).
He who brings gifts to him the Ancient and the Last, to Visnu who ordains, together with his Spouse, Who tells the lofty birth of him the Lofty One, shall verily surpass in glory e'en his peer.
