आ वां॑ मित्रावरुणा ह॒व्यजु॑ष्टिं॒ नम॑सा देवा॒वव॑सा ववृत्याम् । अ॒स्माकं॒ ब्रह्म॒ पृत॑नासु सह्या अ॒स्माकं॑ वृ॒ष्टिर्दि॒व्या सु॑पा॒रा
ā vāṃ mitrāvaruṇā havyajuṣṭiṃ namasā devāvavasā vavṛtyām asmākaṃ brahma pṛtanāsu sahyā asmākaṃ vṛṣṭirdivyā supārā
May Mitra and Varuna accept our offered sacrifice and honors; may our sacred Brahman be with our advisors, and may divine rain uplift us from on high.
Divine Mitra and Varuṇa, may I render the oblation acceptable to you with reverence and prayer; may the sacred rite enable us (to overcome) in battles, and may the heavenly rain be to us the means of satisfying our wants.
Gods, Mitra-Varuna, with love and worship, let me make you delight in this oblation. May our prayer be victorious in battles, may we have rain from heaven to make us prosper.
