He who calmed you with sacrifices, who gives the dāsa, the poet-hotri offers with devoted mind; go to the path and follow the true voice bringing good counsel.
Come to the devout (worshipper), who, glorifying you, and providing (all that is) acceptable, presents you with oblations; (to him), the sage, the invoker, who offers you worship; accept his sacrifice; favourably disposed towards us, (accept) our praises.
Whoso with sacrifices toiling brings you gifts, and worships, sage and priest, fulfilling your desire,- To him do ye draw nigh and taste his sacrifice. Come well-inclined to us unto our songs and prayer.
