O earth, here in greatness you were moved by the wide-voiced singers; they cleave the path, the dawning Sun strides forth like a hero.
You bring (the cattle) to their acceptable (pasture) upon earth, whence the milk-yielding cows, protected by your power, return unharmed to their stalls; they cry to the sun (in heaven) above, both at evening and at dawn, as one (cries aloud) who detects a thief.
On this great earth ye send your treasure down with might: unstained by dust, the crowding kine are in the stalls. Here in the neighbourhood they cry unto the Sun at morning and at evening, like swift birds of prey.
