आ वां॑ भूषन्क्षि॒तयो॒ जन्म॒ रोद॑स्योः प्र॒वाच्यं॑ वृषणा॒ दक्ष॑से म॒हे । यदी॑मृ॒ताय॒ भर॑थो॒ यदर्व॑ते॒ प्र होत्र॑या॒ शिम्या॑ वीथो अध्व॒रम्
ā vāṃ bhūṣankṣitayo janma rodasyoḥ pravācyaṃ vṛṣaṇā dakṣase mahe yadīmṛtāya bharatho yadarvate pra hotrayā śimyā vītho adhvaram
We have adorned you, O earth, with her golden birth, proclaimed by the bulls; the strong one, famed for speech, bore immortality and offered holy rites with the priestly chant.
For the sake (of obtaining) great vigour, showerers (of benefits), men glorify your birth from heaven and earth, which is to be extolled, inasmuch as you bestow (his desires) upon the worshipper (as the reward) of his sacrifice, and accept the rite (that is solemnized) with praise and oblation.
The folk have glorified your birth from Earth and Heaven, to be extolled, ye Strong Ones, for your mighty power. Ye, when ye bring to singer and the rite, enjoy the sacrifice periormed with holy praise and strength.
