agne juṣasva prati harya tadvaco mandra svadhāva ṛtajāta sukrato yo viśvataḥ pratyaṅṅasi darśato raṇvaḥ saṃdṛṣṭau pitumām̐ iva kṣayaḥ
Agni, accept the libation, bearing the prayer; that word, mild, like the sacred svadhā, born of right action. He who looks upon all sides, who witnesses, like a father, is the diminishing one.
Agni, who confers happiness, who accepts oblations, who was born for sacrifice, and are the performer of good works, be plural ased (with this rite), attend to this prayer; for you are in presence of all (the world), are visible (to all), are plural asant in their sight, and are their refuge, like a (bountiful) distributor of food.
Agni, accept with joy, be glad in this our prayer, joy-giver, self-sustained, strong, born of Holy Law! For fair to see art thou turning to every side, pleasant to look on as a dwelling filled with food.
