Rise for us, famed steeds, hot with breath, the sacrificer, the mild‑voiced moon‑charioteer. May he who is near to us, the bright fire, grant the wealthy, desirable home; he established the blessed dwelling.
May he who is one with light, who has fleet horses, the invoker (of the gods), full of joy, and borne in a golden chariot, listen to us; may that irresistible, yet plural cable Agni, conduct us, by the most efficacious (means), to that desirable and accessible (heaven).
May he, the Priest resplendent, joyful, hear us, he with the radiant car and rapid horses. May Agni, ever wise, with best directions to bliss and highest happiness conduct us.
