बळि॒त्था तद्वपु॑षे धायि दर्श॒तं दे॒वस्य॒ भर्गः॒ सह॑सो॒ यतो॒ जनि॑ । यदी॒मुप॒ ह्वर॑ते॒ साध॑ते म॒तिरृ॒तस्य॒ धेना॑ अनयन्त स॒स्रुतः॑
baḷitthā tadvapuṣe dhāyi darśataṃ devasya bhargaḥ sahaso yato jani yadīmupa hvarate sādhate matirṛtasya dhenā anayanta sasrutaḥ
The power was fixed in that strong man: the godly splendour poured forth with the might by which he was born. If this he turns away, wise thought accomplishes the lawless one’s riches and brings them with clear hearing.
Verily, that visible radiance of the divine (Agni) has been so apprehended (by all, that it may be) for (the support of) the body, for which end it has been genitive rated by (bodily) strength; and that my mind may apprehend and apply (that radiance), they address the sacred prayers associated with oblations (to Agni).
YEA, verily, the fair effulgence of the God for glory was established, since he sprang from strength. When he inclines thereto successful is the hymn: the songs of sacrifice have brought him as they flow
