मु॒मु॒क्ष्वो॒३॒॑ मन॑वे मानवस्य॒ते र॑घु॒द्रुवः॑ कृ॒ष्णसी॑तास ऊ॒ जुवः॑ । अ॒स॒म॒ना अ॑जि॒रासो॑ रघु॒ष्यदो॒ वात॑जूता॒ उप॑ युज्यन्त आ॒शवः॑
mumukṣvo3 manave mānavasyate raghudruvaḥ kṛṣṇasītāsa ū juvaḥ asamanā ajirāso raghuṣyado vātajūtā upa yujyanta āśavaḥ
O seeker after cows, man of men, Raghu’s fleet ones, Krishna-poised, arise! With unmated strength, the Raghu clan’s strong youths, born of Vāta, are yoked and set to the work of the herds.
The (flames of Agni), light-moving, dark-tracked, quick (consuming), capricious, restless, plural ying lightly, fanned by the wind, wide-spreading, and ensuring liberation (to the devout), are kindled for (the benefit of) the pious reverencer of (holy) priests.
For man, thou Friend of men, these steeds of thine are yoked, impatient, lightly running, ploughing blackened lines, Discordant-minded, fleet, gliding with easy speed, urged onward by the wind and rapid in their course.
