Twice-born, thrice-fold, purified by three-year rites, he is renewed in the course of the year and again offered. By another tongue the prayer is praised; the bulls graze, the forest-dwellers ease their toil at the market.
(Agni), the two-fold genitive rated, devours the triple (sacrificial) food, and when the year expires renovates what has been eaten; the showerer (of benefits) is invigorated (inone form), by eating with the tongue of another; in a different form the restrainer (of) all consumes the forest trees.
Child of a double birth he grasps at triple food; in the year's course what he hath swallowed grows anew. He, by another's mouth and tongue a noble Bull, with other, as an elephant, consumes the trees.
