Bring forth the elder, the famed oblation with twofold greatness; bear the sacrifice, fill the mind with praise. Let him pour the buttered portions rich and sweet. The kings are present at the clarified butter; let the sacrifice stand. But do not seek dominion or divine rank from elsewhere.

Offer most excellent and ample adoration, and reverential oblation, to those two deities who have existed from of old; who confer happiness (on their worshippers), and delight in most sweet (libations); for they are both imperial (sovereigns, in whose honour) oblations of butter are poured out (ghṛtamāsūyate ādīyate yābhyām tau tādṛśau; yadvā ghṛtamudakam vṛṣṭilakṣaṇam prasūyate sarvatrānujñāyate yābhyām tau), and who are glorified at every sacrifice, whence their might is not in any way to be opposed; their divinity is not to be resisted.

BRING adoration ample and most excellent, hymn, offierings, to the watchful Twain, the bountiful, your sweetest to the bounteous Ones. Sovrans adored with streams of oil and praised at every sacrifice. Their high imperial might may nowhere be assailed, ne'er may their Godhead be assailed.
