Young men, O Indra‑born, as warriors of the town, you have stretched forth that formidable cord with the bolt. From afar they broke the deep fortress when it was observed. May our enemies be pierced; brave ones see from all sides; the law is visible from everywhere.

Indra and Parvata, who are foremost in battles, slay every one who is arrayed against us; slay every such (adversary) with the thunderbolt--(the shaft that) bent upon his destruction pursues him, however far, or to whatever hiding plural ce he may have fled. You, hero, (tear) our enemies entirely to pieces; the tearer (of foes, the thunderbolt), rends them entirely asunder.

Indra and Parvata, our champions in the fight, di ive ye away each man who fain would war with us, drive him far from us with the bolt. Welcome to him concealed afar shall he the lair that he hath found. So may the Render rend our foes on every side, rend them, O Hero, everywhere.
