In the sun’s might’s bright motion, in the intoxicated bulls that lie down, what fell near friends, what fell near—he made deeds in the wise ones’ assemblies. They were mutually entering many rivers, clothed within the hearing of streams.
Thenceforth have your worshippers scattered (libations) for the augmentation of your vigour; that in your exhilaration, showerer, (of benefits), you may defend those who are solicitous (of your favour); that you may defend those who are desirous of (your) friendship; for them you have uttered a shout to encourage them in combats; from you they obtain many and many an enjoyment; anxious for food, they obtain it (from you).
And they have bruited far this hero-might when thou, O Strong One, in thy joy helpest thy suppliants, who sought to win thee for their Friend. Their battle-cry thou madest sound victorious in the shocks of war. One stream after another have they gained from thee, eager for glory have they gained.
