त्वं न॑ इन्द्र रा॒या परी॑णसा या॒हि प॒थाँ अ॑ने॒हसा॑ पु॒रो या॑ह्यर॒क्षसा॑ । सच॑स्व नः परा॒क आ सच॑स्वास्तमी॒क आ । पा॒हि नो॑ दू॒रादा॒राद॒भिष्टि॑भिः॒ सदा॑ पाह्य॒भिष्टि॑भिः
tvaṃ na indra rāyā parīṇasā yāhi pathām̐ anehasā puro yāhyarakṣasā sacasva naḥ parāka ā sacasvāstamīka ā pāhi no dūrādārādabhiṣṭibhiḥ sadā pāhyabhiṣṭibhiḥ
You, O Indra, lead us not astray on the hostile paths; bring us to the town by protection. Be truthful for us, protect us from afar and from near. Guard us from distant and close assaults, ever defend us with warding forces.
Do you, Indra, come to us with abundant riches by a path free from evil; (by a path) unobstructed by rākṣasas; be with us when afar; be with us when nigh; favour us, whether afar or nigh, with the objects of our desires; ever favour us with the objects of our desires.
With riches in abundance, Indra, come to us, come by an unobstructed path, come by a path from demons free. Be with us when we stray afar, be with us when our home is nigh. Protect us with thy help both near and far away: protect us ever with thy help.
