नि षू न॒माति॑मतिं॒ कय॑स्य चि॒त्तेजि॑ष्ठाभिर॒रणि॑भि॒र्नोतिभि॑रु॒ग्राभि॑रुग्रो॒तिभिः॑ । नेषि॑ णो॒ यथा॑ पु॒राने॒नाः शू॑र॒ मन्य॑से । विश्वा॑नि पू॒रोरप॑ पर्षि॒ वह्नि॑रा॒सा वह्नि॑र्नो॒ अच्छ॑
ni ṣū namātimatiṃ kayasya cittejiṣṭhābhiraraṇibhirnotibhirugrābhirugrotibhiḥ neṣi ṇo yathā purānenāḥ śūra manyase viśvāni pūrorapa parṣi vahnirāsā vahnirno accha
He does not despise excess, whose mind is adorned by the foremost of powers, by terrible, fierce energies. Consider him like ancient heroes. All the former offerings are yours; the fires have our tastes, the fires have not lacked for us.
Humble the adversary of every one (your worshippers) fierce (Indra), by your aids, like radiant paths, (to glory); by your powerful aids, gude us, hero, as you have guided our forefathers, for you are honoured (by all). You (Indra), who are the sustainer (of the world), remove all (the sins) of man; present at our sacrifice, you are the bearer (of good things).
Bow down the overweening pride of every foe with succour like to kindling-wood in fiercest flame, with mighty succour, Mighty One. Guide us, thou Hero, as of old, so art thou counted blameless still. Thou drivest, as a Priest, all sins of man away, as Priest, in person, seeking us.
