If these two who merit homage are invoked, the Bhrigus spoke, striving, tenfold the Bhrigus. Agni rules the glorious possessions; he is the bearing post of these. May the poisons depart; let these harmful things go forth for removal.
The descendants of Bhṛgu, celebrating him (Agni) in both his forms, glorifying him, and payig him homage, proclaim his praises; the descendants of Bhṛgu, rubbing (the flame) for the oblation. For the radiant Agni, who is the guardian of all these treasures, has power (to distribute them). Mayhe, the receier of sacrifices, partake of the agreeable (offerings) given to satiety; may he, the receiver of sacrifices, partake (of the oblations).
Even as they who sarig forth hymns, addressed to heaven, the Blirgus with their prayer and praise invited him, the Bhrgus rubbing, offering gifts. For radiant Agni, Lord of all these treasures, is exceeding strong. May he, the wise, accept the grateful coverings, the wise accept the coverings.
