In the morning he places a jewel at dawn; having touched it he receives and sets it down. Thereby a hero caring for progeny grows in life and thrives with royal nourishment.
Having come in the early morning, (Svanaya) presents precious (wealth), knowing it (to be worthy of acceptance); and having, (therefore), accepted it, (Kakṣīvat) brings it (to his father); wherewith the parent of excellent sons, maintaining his progeny, passes his life in the enjoyment of affluence.
COMING at early morn he gives his treasure; the prudent one receives and entertains him. Thereby increasing still his life and offspring, he comes with brave sons to abundant riches.
