अश्वा॑वती॒र्गोम॑तीर्वि॒श्ववा॑रा॒ यत॑माना र॒श्मिभिः॒ सूर्य॑स्य । परा॑ च॒ यन्ति॒ पुन॒रा च॑ यन्ति भ॒द्रा नाम॒ वह॑माना उ॒षासः॑
aśvāvatīrgomatīrviśvavārā yatamānā raśmibhiḥ sūryasya parā ca yanti punarā ca yanti bhadrā nāma vahamānā uṣāsaḥ
Horse-bearing, cow-bearing, widely all-bearing, striving with the rays of the sun: they go forth and return; auspicious, bearing the name of Dawn.
Possessed of horses, possessed of cows, existing through all time, vying with the rays of the sun (in dissipating darkness), auspicious dawns, sending down benefits (on mankind), pass away and again return.
Rich in kine, horses, and all goodly treasures, in constant operation with the sunbeams, The Dawns depart and come again again assuming their wonted forms that promise happy fortune.
