अध॒ प्र ज॑ज्ञे त॒रणि॑र्ममत्तु॒ प्र रो॑च्य॒स्या उ॒षसो॒ न सूरः॑ । इन्दु॒र्येभि॒राष्ट॒ स्वेदु॑हव्यैः स्रु॒वेण॑ सि॒ञ्चञ्ज॒रणा॒भि धाम॑
adha pra jajñe taraṇirmamattu pra rocyasyā uṣaso na sūraḥ induryebhirāṣṭa sveduhavyaiḥ sruveṇa siñcañjaraṇābhi dhāma
Near the ford the cattle conceived, may they be cleansed in the bright dawn. For the bright ones, with sacred presses and eightfold offerings, may the rain be sprinkled unto the abodes.
Now is Indra manifested; may he, the over-comer (of his foes), grant us happiness,he, who shines brightly, like the sun of this dawn; may the excellent Soma, being sprinklled upon the plural ceof sacrifice with a ladle, (exhilarate us), by whom, presenting the oblations we had prepared, it was imbibed.
There is he born. May the Swift give us rapture, and like the Sun shine forth from yonder dawning, Indu, even us who drank, whose toils are offerings, poured from the spoon, with praise, upon the altar.
