स्तम्भी॑द्ध॒ द्यां स ध॒रुणं॑ प्रुषायदृ॒भुर्वाजा॑य॒ द्रवि॑णं॒ नरो॒ गोः । अनु॑ स्व॒जां म॑हि॒षश्च॑क्षत॒ व्रां मेना॒मश्व॑स्य॒ परि॑ मा॒तरं॒ गोः
stambhīddha dyāṃ sa dharuṇaṃ pruṣāyadṛbhurvājāya draviṇaṃ naro goḥ anu svajāṃ mahiṣaścakṣata vrāṃ menāmaśvasya pari mātaraṃ goḥ
He set up the firm heaven, the strong earth; he poured out wealth for heroic vigour, cows and men. He followed the cows, the great bulls saw, behold the mares of the steed around the mother of cows.
He verily upholds the heaven; he, the brilliant, the leader of the (stolen) herd, pours forth the flowing (water), for the sake of food; the mighty Indra manifests himself after his own daughter (the dawn); he made the feminine le of the horse unnaturally the mother of the cow.
He stablished heaven; he poured forth, skilful worker, the wealth of kine, for strength, that nurtures heroes. The Mighty One his self-born host regarded, the horse's mate, the mother of the heifer.
