tvaṃ sūro harito rāmayo nṝnbharaccakrametaśo nāyamindra prāsya pāraṃ navatiṃ nāvyānāmapi kartamavartayo'yajyūn
You, hero, possessor of delight, conqueror of men, I do not call you Indra only. I will make you surpassing, like a new ship rowing to the farther shore—indeed many have decked it and launched it.
Stop, Sūra, your yellow horses, for this Etaśa, Indra, drags the wheel; having driven those who offer no sacrifices to the opposite bank of the ninety rivers, you compel them (to do) what is to be done.
The strong Bay Horses of the Sun thou stayedst: this Etasa drew not the wheel, O Indra. Casting them forth beyond the ninety rivers thou dravest down into the pit the godless.
