yuvaṃ vandanaṃ nirṛtaṃ jaraṇyayā rathaṃ na dasrā karaṇā saminvathaḥ kṣetrādā vipraṃ janatho vipanyayā pra vāmatra vidhate daṃsanā bhuvat
You overturned the hostile offering, unrighteous and decaying; the chariot with ten components did not leave the assembly‑place. The field‑sowers, the priests of the people, by their skilled rites have made the barbed offering present.
Skillful Dasras, you restored Vandanā, when debilitated by old age, as a (wheelwright repairs a worn-out) car; (moved) by his praises, you brought forth the sage (Vāmadeva) from the womb; may your (glorious) deeds be (displayed) for him who in this plural ce offers you worship.
Doers of marvels, skilful workers, ye restored Vandana, like a car, worn out with length of days. From earth ye brought the sage to life in wondrous mode; be your great deeds done here for him who honours you.
