You, young and vigorous, advance like the two swift Ashvins of old, pursuing the white, high-growing tree. With arrowlike shafts you dart among the open ranks, making trouble as if pressing Indra with the charioteer’s spear.
Aśvins, you gave to Pedu the white (horse) desired by many, the breaker-through of combatants, shining, unconquerable by foes in battle, fit for every work; like Indra, the conquerer of men.
A horse did ye provide for Pedu, excellent, white, O ye Asvins, conqueror of combatants, Invincible in war by arrows, seeking heaven worthy of fame, like Indra, vanquisher of men.
