प्र॒वद्या॑मना सु॒वृता॒ रथे॑न॒ दस्रा॑वि॒मं शृ॑णुतं॒ श्लोक॒मद्रेः॑ । किम॒ङ्ग वां॒ प्रत्यव॑र्तिं॒ गमि॑ष्ठा॒हुर्विप्रा॑सो अश्विना पुरा॒जाः
pravadyāmanā suvṛtā rathena dasrāvimaṃ śaṛṇutaṃ ślokamadreḥ kimaṅga vāṃ pratyavartiṃ gamiṣṭhāhurviprāso aśvinā purājāḥ
Proclaiming aloud from the well‑yoked chariot, listen, O people, to the song of the waters. Why have you turned back? The sages formerly said: the Ashvins are the public‑spirited ones.
Dasras (having come) with your quick-moving well-constructed car, hear this hymn, (recited by one) who reveres you; do not the ancient sages say that you are most prompt, Aśvins, (to avert) poverty from the worshipper?
With your well-rolling car, descending swiftly, hear this the press-stone's song, ye Wonder-Workers. How then have ancient sages said, O Asvins, that ye most swiftly come to stay affliction?
