The Ashvins did not hide the horse; far they gave strength to the steed, the warrior drove like rain in waters. The near first ones, the hosts with sacred songs, did not bind you by former deeds.
Leaders (of sacrifice), showerers (of benefits), you restored Rebha, cast by unassailable (enemies) into the water, and wounded, like a (sick) horse, by your (healing) skill; your ancient exploits do not fade (from recollection).
Rebha the sage, ye mighty Heroes, Asvins! whom, like a horse, vile men had sunk in water,- Him, wounded, with your wondrous power ye rescued: your exploits of old time endure for ever.
