A hundred rams in the wolf’s den slew darkness that subdued me—O fathers, thus (they) struck. With flashing steeds the Ashvins gave sight and light to the blind, they pierced the gloom.
You restored eyes to Ṛjrāśva, who, on presenting a hundred sheep to the she-wolf, had been condemned to darkness by his indignant father, and gave light to the blind, wherewith to behold all things.
He whom for furnishing a hundred wethers to the she-wolf, his wicked father blinded, To him, Rjrasva, gave ye eyes, O Asvins; light to the blind ye sent for perfect vision.
