Remove from us the slayer of kine and the slayer of men; let the heroic welfare be ours. Speak to us kindly and tell us what is above; grant to us, O gods, protection that brings modesty.

Destroyer of heroes, may your cow-killing or man-slaying (weapon) be far away, and let the felicity granted by you be ours; favour us; speak, brilliant hero, in our behalf, and grant us, you who are mighty over the two (realms of heaven and earth), prosperity.

Far be thy dart that killeth men or cattle: thy bliss be with us, O thou Lord of Heroes. Be gracious unto us, O God, and bless us, and then vouchsafe us doubly-strong protection.
