स॒मा॒नो अध्वा॒ स्वस्रो॑रन॒न्तस्तम॒न्यान्या॑ चरतो दे॒वशि॑ष्टे । न मे॑थेते॒ न त॑स्थतुः सु॒मेके॒ नक्तो॒षासा॒ सम॑नसा॒ विरू॑पे
samāno adhvā svasroranantastamanyānyā carato devaśiṣṭe na methete na tasthatuḥ sumeke naktoṣāsā samanasā virūpe
Like equal paths, like many‑streaming rivers, she moves among other lights, chosen by the gods. Do not let her be turned from us, nor let her stand away—may the dawn with grouped songs not be estranged.
The path of the sisters is unending; they travel it alternately, guided by the radiant (sun); combined in purpose, though of different forms, night and dawn, giving birth (to all things), obstruct not eachother, neither do they stand still.
Common, unending is the Sisters' pathway; taught by the Gods, alternately they travel. Fair-formed, of different hues and yet one-minded, Night and Dawn clash not, neither do they travel.
