By those who made men lie down, by those who made the threefold [rites], by those who first sang the song in the town of Manu; by those who were born of bodily form and shone like rays, by those who yoked steeds with upward glance, they went afar.
With those aids, leaders (of sacrifices), which you afforded to Śayu, to Atri, and formerly to Manu, anxious (to show them) the way (to escape from evil); with those by which you shot arrows (upon the foes) of Syūmaraśmi; with them, Aśvis, willingly come hither.
Wherewith, O Heroes, ye vouchsafed deliverance to Sayu, Atri, and to Manu long ago; Wherewith ye shot your shafts in Syumarasmi's cause.-Come hither unto us, O Asvins, with those aids.
