By those who brought the great‑sighted, the kine‑protecting, heaven‑revealed god who slays Šambara; by those who brought forward the ancient dawn—by those who yoked steeds with upward glance, they went afar.
With those aids by which you defended the mighty and hospitable Divodāsa, (when, having undertaken) the death of Śambara, he hid himself in the water (through fear of the asuras); by which you protected Trasadasyu in war; with them, Aśvins, come willingly hither.
Wherewith, when Sambara was slain, ye guarded well great Atithigva, Divodisa, Kasoju, And Trasadasyu when the forts were shattered down,-Come hither unto us, O Asvins, with those aids.
