We know of the carpenter of chariots, famed and skilful, the chariot-lifter, driver of Indra, strong and wealthy. He became a maker for the fathers; the two youthful makers fashioned the chariot—mother together with companion became manifest.
The Ṛbhus, possessed of skill in their work, constructed (for the Aśvins) a well-built car; they framed the vigorous horses bearing Indra; they gave youthful existence to their parents; they gave to the calf its accompanying mother.
WORKING with skill they wrought the lightly rolling car: they wrought the Bays who bear Indra and bring great gifts. The Rbhus for their Parents made life young again; and fashioned for the calf a mother by its side.
