They purified the reebhava with the essences like the shining shami tree, the mortals sought immortality and did not fall away. The sacrificers, bright-eyed, with their seasons, complete the rites with their minds.
Associated with the priests, and quickly performing the holy rites, they, being yet mortals, acquired immortality and the son of Sudhanvan, the Ṛbhus, brilliant as the sun, became connected with the ceremonies (appropriated to the different season) of the year.
When they had served with zeal at sacrifice as priests, they, mortal as they were, gained immortality. The Rbhus, children of Sudhanvan, bright as suns, were in a year's course made associate with prayers.
