amī ye sapta raśmayastatrā me nābhirātatā tritastadvedāptyaḥ sa jāmitvāya rebhati vittaṃ me asya rodasī
They are mine, the seven rays around my navel; thrice-born are the seers who know them. I take birth for thy sake; grant me this wealth of hers, O Rodaśī.
Those which are the seven rays (of the sun), in them is my navel expanded; Trita, the son of the waters, knows that (it is so), and he praises them for his extrication (from the well). Heaven and earth, be conscious of this (my affliction).
Where those seven rays are shining, thence my home and family extend. This Trta Aptya knoweth well, and speaketh out for brotherhood. Mark this my woe, ye Earth and Heaven.
