When will you, O upholder of ṛta, give me sight of Varuṇa’s eye? When shall I, going forth from the great path, obtain this wealth of hers, O Rodaśī?
Where, deities, is your observance of the truth, where the (benignant) regard of Varuṇa, where is the path of the mighty Aryaman, (so that) we may overcome the malevolent? Heaven and earth, be conscious of this (my affliction).
What is your firm support of Law? What Varuna's observant eye? How may we pass the wicked on the path of mighty Aryaman? Mark this my woe, ye Earth and Heaven.
